How do I repair two sagging interior doors?
Does anyone know how to fix sagging doors? I have 2 interior doors that sag. I assume there is an easier way than moving the door knob or taking out the old school hand held lathe. What are some good tips?

Hi Javier, Please explain what you mean by sag! Do you have a photo or two?
If it has not always sagged, check that the hinges are screwed in properly and that all the screws are in the hinge. If that is all good, a hand planer may be your only option.
Anita is right. It may be that your hinges have come loose from the door frame. Check to make sure they are screwed snug against the door frame. I have even seen where a small wedge has been put under a hinge where the woodwork has worn and door shifted but to do that you would have to take the door hinge off the frame side to insert the shim/wedge and then screw back into place. It all depends on why your door is sagging.
New hinges. It worked for me.
Ok, I hadn't considered that as a possible solution. Thanks
Replace your screws with ones that are 3 inches long. Otherwise you will have to constantly retighten your screws.
