What can I do with extra flower food packets?

    With the info of what's in them you can base on what you'd like to do with them. A few people have put the contents in with potted plants and it provides a little nutrition to the plants, but I would not rely on it as a source of a fertilizer.

    Seems there are not many other uses for them other than the purpose of preserving the flowers in a vase. Best to you.

    Perhaps other Hometalkers have found some good uses for them.

    You could use them on flowers you cut from the garden and bring in the house.

    Rather than throwing them away, sprinkle the contents in a flower or vegetable garden.
