How to grow a small garden with limited space?
I have a very small yard but would love to grow a few vegetables this year. What is the best way to grow tomatoes, green beans, and cucumbers when you have very limited space?

Hi Tracie - You can grow vegetables in containers: https://www.gardeners.com/how-to/small-vegetable-garden/8569.html
I have raised beds. You can make them any size you wish. Adding some veggies planted in pots and you will have some fresh vegetables that you have grown. Consider you space and what you want to plant. Cucumbers take up a lot of room. Also consider visiting local farmer markets in your area in the summer for fresh vegetables grown in your area. I only plant some things but buy others because I don't want to maintain a large garden. I also have some great friends and neighbors who give me their excess garden produce!
I had a bucket or planter garden , it was great !!! I used a trellis, for beans & cucumbers. I lived in an apartment and had 5 planters against the back of the apartment.
Checkout square foot gardening on the internet...this is a great way to get maximum yield with a minimal footprint
There are lots of small raised garden bed structures that would work perfectly for you. Raised beds are really easy to construct too. There's also container gardening. When planting veggies in containers, the bigger the container the better. Good luck and happy gardening!
one firm sells garden fabric liners already made to fit into milk crates for SMALL raised beds!
