Mason Jar Blender Hack {aka DIY Magic Bullet}

I’m excited to share a quick trick for making your own DIY magic bullet (if you don't know, a Magic Bullet is a single serve blender). I have a magic bullet at home and we use it 3-4 times a day. I love being able to make one serving, and only have to clean the cup - its so convenient!
But if you don't own a Magic Bullet, are traveling or visiting family/friends, or it isn't in the budget, you probably already have everything you need to make your own!
You can use a mason jar on your blender! So cool!

All you have to do is fill your mason jar with your smoothie – or milkshake – goodies, attach the blade – it should screw right on -
And blend!

Note* - you can't use wide mouth jars, they must be standard mouth

    Leroy Eshelman...where did you read "walk away" in my post? I'm trying to save someone from injury. Why even comment? If a blender motor spins the collar (that holds the blades in place) counterclockwise, the blades will spin off the base...it will "unscrew" the jar because there are no "wings" to stop it. Please check you blenders before using a regular jar.

      Duh...I couldn't! Besides, the speed of it going counterclockwise would rip it out of the hand.

    EJ blow off. Just because you do it all the time doesn't me it isn't a great hack. Good for you. Even better for every single person who never knew this piece of information, which I'm sure is quite the large number of people.
