I love using just water with a microfiber cloth like Norwex!
Dawn dish soap hot water wash cloths
I smoke so my walls were discolored as well as dirty. I used warm water, dawn dish soap (small amount so it didn't suds up a lot) and some vinegar. Had one bucket with cleaning solution and one bucket to rinse clothes. Started from the top and worked my way down. Be sure not to soak your walls or use more water than necessary or you will have a floor to clean up too. Worked great.
Hi Cassandra,
I'd use hot water and Dawn, as well, unless there are some greasy stains or spots on the wall. For those, I'd use equal parts of vinegar and water with a few drops of Dawn to remove them. Wishing you the best.
Thank you so much!
A vinegar water solution is what I use.
