How do I get rid of ants coming in home naturally?
I have 2 toddlers so I don’t want to use any poison or anything that they could get. I have tried outdoor sprays and they work for like 3 days and the ants are back. Thank you

Vinegar is what I use. I have lots of pets and visiting children, so no chemicals in my house. Best to follow their trail and find the nest.
The sprays didn't take care of all the ants in the mounds around your house. Look for the mounds and sprinkle them liberally with the sweetened cornbread and muffin mix. If it is a large mound or larger ants it may take a few applications because of the amount or size of the ants in the mound. Keep applying once the mix is gone if you see activity in the mound when disturbed. They take it for the sweet, they can't digest the cornmeal and it causes them to die. It is safe for all other critters except those like ants, so it is safe for kids and pets and you can use it anywhere in your yard to treat all the mounds you can find. If you know where they are coming in the house, follow them to the mound. If you only have an idea where, put some cornmeal down and see if that stops them for a while (it may keep then busy), see if it has less where you put it. If it is less, put more down, they are taking it home to all the other ants in the mound.
diatomaceous earth
I use packaged cornbread mix that says it is sweetened and put it where they are. They will take it to the mound, everyone will eat it and die, they can't digest the cornmeal, but will take it because it is sweetened. Little goes a long way.
I read this from : Itsmemic
Medicated powder from the Dollar Tree. It has eucalyptus in it...menthol...I puff it around my homes foundation..and inside under my birdcages in the cracks under moldings. Work immediately and they never come back. I do this at the first sign of ants..in one day..GONE. The powder is in a very large container and lasts quite awhile too !! And smells great !
Not toxic to my birds OR dog
Hi Tori - Those little buggers are relentless, aren't they?!? This is the most effective method and all-natural spray DIY that we use with ants. It's best indoors, but will also work outside with more frequent applications. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

First you need to go outside and watch and try to see if you can tell where they are coming in at. Then I got ant bait stations from Terro and put in their trail. Walk no more ants and my kids had them for years when they lived here. My sister had the same problem and it worked for her too'¡
