No. No easy, cheap way to get rid of bed bugs. They get into cracks in wood and can live for a very long time. Spraying does not kill them. Heat works.

I was able to get rid of them at my mom's place in Phoenix, AZ. It takes a LOT of time and constant vigilance, but it can be done. I used Diatomaceous Earth. It's a white powder that you can get at WalMart, Home Depot, etc. Sprinkle it everywhere you can, carpets, closets, etc. Be sure that there is always DE on your surfaces, baseboards, etc. ALL clothing, bedding, etc, MUST be washed and dried in a dryer, then kept in dark plastic bags till bugs are gone. As I said, it can be done, but it takes about 4 months of non-stop attention. We also got rid of mom's entire bed, frame and all. Otherwise, you can have a Pest Control place do it, takes 2 visits and about $400. Good Luck!!
