How do I get rid of the weeds?
Small Garden Area front yard. Can't keep up with the weeds anymore need a quick fix but like to keep the plants sick of mulching, need a cheap plan!

I tried weedkiller, boiling water, vinegar. Dandelions and grassen keep coming back almost instantie after removing them.
Hi Renaie, cardboard boxes work well and will act as a mulch too.
I would put down a weed paper or even layers of paper or cardboard and only cut a space around each plant you want to keep. This will kill the weeds and you could cover it with decorative stones like white rocks or something if you do not want mulch. You would need a cover of some sort.
The ladies above have the right plan. An alternative is to go with a potted garden. That way, you just pull the plants you want and pot them. Cover the ground with a heavy weed block or a thick layer of newspaper or cardboard and put a layer of gravel or even decomposed granite over that. Place the plants in an attractive grouping and just tend them. No need to worry about mulch or weeds again.
