Hi John, this is Peggy. I have lots of animals and the best way to take care of ticks and fleas is to get the good stuff from your vet. Be careful with cheap flea collars, they can make your animals sick. I put this on my animals every month and it works really good. If you have fleas in your home vacuum and wash all bedding . Hope this is helpful. Good luck
I agree, all.other remedies just don't work unfortunately. The monthly pills are best.
Use Vinegar to Kill and Prevent Ticks on Dogs. A homemade spray solution of one part vinegar and one part water helps keep ticks and fleas away from your pets. Pour the solution in a spray bottle and spray directly onto your pets, but be careful not to get it in their eyes.

I have some senior dogs in my group and we can't use the oral medication as we almost lost one dog because of it. I spray the perimeter of my property and base of my house once a month with vinegar. Needs to be reapplied after every rain event. It does help.
Thanks I will give it a try
Hi John, Eucalyptus oil is known as an effective tick and flea repellent, and killer. Just combine 4 ounces of purified or distilled water into a small spray bottle along with 20 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. You can also use diatomaceous earth.
