How would moth balls and soap in your garden affect tomatoes and such?
Do any of those remedies such as the moth balls or the soap affect your garden your tomatoes and such? Does it affect the taste of those garden vegetables? Does the foil keep the deer from rubbing on trees too? Thank you,Shan

Foil won't work it will rub off when the deer rub against the trees, I use deer and rabbit repellent i purchased at HomeDepot or Lowes.
moth balls are toxic I sure wouldn't use them in any of my gardens not even flowers cause it damages healthy microbes in soil.I would not want to eat veggies that have the roots/plants/fruits contaiminated with soap either. here is good site for all ways/means of organic pest control. I stay away from most of the DIY remedies for fertilzers or pest control use all organic methods usually beneficial bugs. I had an old farmer friend that told me "plant 3x times what you want to eat 1/3 for you ,1/3 for freinds/family/neighbors,1/3 for seed & the critters that sow seeds/pollinate/and want to eat the good stuff too"
