How to install a french drain?
Has anyone installed their own french drain and, if so, how hard was it and does it work properly? Thank you.

Yes, I have 3 on my property. They are amazing. Digging and getting the proper slope is very important. I hired my gardener to dig the trenches and my ex hubby supervised for me (while I was at work making money to pay for it!) I had roughly 200 linear feet of trench dug up. My back couldn't handle that, so I had to hire out. Since I had them installed years ago, they work beautifully. I flush them out spring and fall to keep them in top shape. See if this helps you.
