How can I get rid of all the flies?
It seems flies are filling my house and it's as if they're coming out of the ground everywhere around my house! I can't tolerate this and if I spray them, the house fills right back up! I don't have a/c, no screened windows, so I'm at their mercy. Home damaged from Hurricane Michael here in Panama City. What can be done to help me?

I have fruit flies and can't get rid of them. I don't even have any food or fruit out.
The most common reason for flies swarming all over your house is an infestation inside or nearby your home. If you suddenly see a swarm of flies that means dozens of eggs have already hatched and developed into flies. The source is likely inside your house, garage, attic or garden.

You can get the diy magnetic screen that fit easily over any door. That might be your only option to stop them coming in. Here in Australia we also have the automatic insect repellents like the air freshners that release a spray every nine minutes. This could also be an option. Or alternatively you can get the pest man in to add a surface spray to kill them.
I use Spectracide Bug Stop bought from Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. for just under $7/gallon. It claims it lasts a year, but I use it spring and fall to be sure. It can be used on plants, inside or outside. I say all this because I had flies in the attic. Had them diagnosed to be "cluster flies" which reproduce in the ground and fly in the house through openings. It's important to clean up the dead ones so the live ones don't feed on them and then reproduce. It can take awhile to get rid of them. I would spray the entire yard and house.
