How do I keep animals from urinating on porch?
I live in an apartment ground floor. Landlord thought it smart to remove railings from porches. What can I spray or put out to keep irresponsible pet owners pets from urinating on my porch and leaving pet hair on my lawn furniture while I am at work. Highly allergic to pet dander.

We can't use a motion sensor water scarecrow because it would get the delivery people all wet too.
Its illegal in our state (MASS) TO HAVE NO RAILINGs on a rental or any home. Check with local city or town hall.
Have someone stay home and hose them every time they come in yard, don't leave cushions out when your not using them, visit yourlocal nursery to get the appropriate spray you can try.
You could put something up in place of the rails. My first thought was expandable privacy fence like this:

But you could also do something with lattice. It's a shame it was removed. I guess complaining did no good. You might check with local building codes to make sure it wasn't a violation to remove it.
Try Bitter Apple Spray. Cover the cushions with an old sheet or beach towels. Peppermint oil on cotton balls may work. Do not use mothballs, too dangerous.
