How do I fix a wooden floor inexpensively?
I have wooden floors in my house that are trashed, I was wondering if I could paint or use stencils or any other ideas.

Hi Joy - you can definitely paint wood floors. I have seen so many people paint wood floors and they can really turn out beautifully. Check out these floors on Pinterest:

Wood restore for laminate and hardwood
It depends on how severely they are trashed. Try cleaning with this:
½ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp blue Dawn
2 gallons warm tap water
Once completely clean and dry, apply Rejuvenate. I just did this in our farmhouse where some of the wood floors had carpet over them and they were in bad shape. Now they look fantastic.
You may also try Johnson One Step No Buff Wax. We used this on a 1950s built house several years ago with great results.
I would never use water or vinegar on a hardwood floor. There are cleaners make for this application.
