Take the tiles off and sand down the wood, Paint and good as new. Of course you can just replace you tiles. Floor and Decor has a wide variety of tiles.
Chip the tiles off, sand smooth, you can then paint the inside and pit in a glass insert to level out the table, or replace tile.
Removing tile and the grouting, or adherent, is not always easy, and can be a messy project.
