You should be aware that regular table salt (sodium chloride) will render the soil sterile. You won’t be able to grow things if salt is in the soil in sufficient amounts. Epsom salts are used to treat magnesium deficiency in soil so it should not have the same effect. But a high level of Epsom salts could still effect the soil.
