How do I keep squirrels out of my garden?
I have a veggie and herb garden on my balcony, the problem I am having is keeping the squirrels out. They come and dig my seeds out and eat them, I need a harmless way of keeping the pests out my little garden. Can you help me with any ideas?

You can create your very own repellent with stuff you have on your very own kitchen - hot sauce, dish washing liquid, water. You can also enlist the help of your dogs if you have any.
glue 2 cd's together with silver sides out. Drill hole in top and add string. Place them hanging around your garden and it should keep them away. It was the only way I could keep them off my deck.
I had the same problem in my raised beds! I covered the soil with Chicken wire after planting my seeds. This also helps keep out cats who think they'll use the beds as a litter box!
Place river rocks on top of the soil in your pots. Large enough that they can't push them aside. Any home improvement center will have a bag for a few dollars.
I shake hot pepper flakes around the plants.
