Not that I've found. Planting certain plants give off aromas that are mildly repellent but insufficient to do all that much. Search on line for preventive steps such as elimination of standing water, changing out bird bath and similar water features weekly.

Search online for attracting dragonflies. Certain plants are recommended based on where you live. Some suggestions that can help is incorporation of small water features again with specific plants for the dragonflies to breed. Again, you need to be aware of mosquitoes using the water but there are some safe repellents you can put in the water. Dragonflies are voracious eaters of mosquitoes. Attracting certain birds, again the type depending on where you live is great as well. Certain feeders, feed and nesting boxes are recommended. I also find bats to be very helpful and "bat boxes" can be built and put up, though no everyone wants them around.

Citronella plants are good for deterring mosquitoes. You can crush the leaves in your hand and use the liquid to rub on your skin, providing you have no allergies. The scent is lemony.

Here's a good article for plants that repel them:

  • I have patio fans. Set on low and any flying pests stay away.
