Hi Bonnie. Moles travel on their bellies. Because of this, anything that will create vibrations will drive them nuts and out. You can put a garden-size windmill close to their home. Or a fan, an electric toothbrush, or even a boom box will create vibrations. Good luck Bonnie.
Usually they are after grubs in the lawn. If you get rid of the grubs, the moles will go too.
Get pinwheels or garden spinners from the dollar store , put the stick end 5-7 inches
Into the ground , near their holes or where you have seen them . When the wind blows , it cause a vibration down the stick and into the ground, which they don't like and will move on !
I was asking for a friend. Will pass along all the great suggestions. Thanks.
