do you mean like a stand?
I would buy a bag of concrete, mix some food coloring in your favorite color and an aluminum baking pan from the dollar store.
Mix up the concrete with water in a bucket, add the food coloring, pour into the pan.
Before it sets up, insert a piece of PVC pipe that is the right size to hold your umbrella.
If you want to get really fancy, then buy some marbles, or those shiny glass blobs that you can get at the dollar store and put them in the bottom of the aluminum pan before you pour in the concrete. When the concrete is about 95% cured and dry, pour it out, flip it over, and take a stiff bristle brush and the hose running slowly on it and remove just a tiny bit of the concrete. This is called exposed aggregate concrete.
Hi Scarlett. I used a large flower pot that fit under my table. I held a piece of PVC while my husband added mixed concrete. Make sure to keep the PVC level. Our umbrella fits right down into the PVC.
