Usr a degreaser and q-tips.
A soft toothbrush and Dawn dish detergent.
Or cotton pads (like makeup remover round flat pads) work well also to help get under and around the knobs.
The buttons on my stove are removable if you just pull hard. I soak mine in a big bowl of soapy (Dawn) dish soap then dry them and pop them back on.
Degreaser and toothbrush
Some stoves you can pull the buttons off then put them in your dishwasher and wash them. The dishwasher cleans them and makes them sparkle.
