Hi ! When we bought our retirement home a few years ago , it was stuck in the 1970's! I hated the scalloped edges in the inset of my kitchen cabinet Door fronts. My easy and inexpensive fix was to buy a half sheet of beadboard for $10.
I measured the area I wanted covered and marked the beadboard . My husband cut it for me , then I glued it to the front using lock tight super glue . Then I painted them white using Benjamin Moore advance paint. You can see my step by step tutorial on this site called New kitchen on a budget .
