What kind of glue? White, epoxy, ..? Have you tried to gently pick.it off?
Hi Darlene, I would try Goo-B-Gone first and then if that didn't work I would very carefully try nail polish remover. Nail polish remover is Acetone so it will eat through the top coat of your table eventually but if you work in tiny batches and are very careful you can probably just remove the glue without doing any damage.
Goo Gone should loosen it enough to work it loose.
