How to easily update outdated furniture with fun patterns using peel & stick wallpaper. Use this method to add a pop of color to any piece of furniture & all for a DIY price.

Besides that stud muffin of a pup, these pieces are not much to look at, but they are in good condition & just need a little TLC. I wanted too lighten them up & add a fun pattern to the front using some peel & stick wallpaper.

I started by sanding & painting both pieces with a leftover gray paint I had.

Next, I used this blue checkered wallpaper to add a pop of color to the front of the drawers. All I did was held it up to the length of the drawer then cut it down to size. You could also you adhesive drawer liners instead of wallpaper if you found one you liked! I definitely recommend making sure whatever you use is peel & stick.

I gave the existing hardware an update by spray painting it gold & ta-da two updated pieces for under $10!
