How do I take care of hostas?
I'm a brand new to Hosta's and I don't know if they need lots of water, lots of sun or the complete opposite. Could someone give me little help here? I'm really sorry for having to ask. But I figure you ladies and gentlemen would know more than the internet.

Ellen,
Hostas are amazing! Mine grow in both sun and shade and seem to do well whether they have water or not. The only ones I've actually watered are the ones I have in pots. I only did that because they looked dry, like my flowers. I've even done things you're not supposed to do with mine. For example, this year I split a large one into 8 pieces AFTER it was fully grown for the summer. All of the 8 pieces have rooted and are shooting up flowers. I'm not saying to do that, but just want to let you know that they are easy to care for. I got 2 pieces from a neighbor over 35 years ago and now have them all around my house due to cutting off and planting pieces, mostly in the spring. Here's an article from the "internet" (LOL) that will tell what the experts say about hostas. Wishing you the best.

Hostas prefer partial shade and can tolerate total shade. They like moist soil, but not too wet. They are pretty easy to grow!
