How can I make a headboard without nailing to the wall?
I rent and can only use small nails and thumb tacks. I would like to make a headboard as well as other items, but all seem to call for using studs and large nails.
Just hang over bed with hooks, nails. Can cover up nails by gluing buttons over nail heads.
I would get a piece of foam and wrap with the fabric, then use double-sided foam strips to attach to the wall. The foam can usually be purchased as camping mats in home stores.
What a great idea. You could put a fake window with either an outdoor scene or mirrored between curtains so it looks as if you are looking outside.
Hi, Vicky!
That sounds like a great project and the easiest way I can think to do this is to mount a cafe curtain rod to the wall and hang or drape curtains, sheets or any type of fabric over the rod. I hope this helps!
Vicky, I found a variety of ideas under "explore projects" then "make over" and typed in "headboard" in the search box. If you need more ideas you can find them there. Hope these help.

Hello Vicky,
You could use Curtain Clips to attach to Sheets and curtains . They have rings you could slip onto a curtain rod or wire.
