Which backsplash would go with butcher block countertops?
I really love the look of butch block counter tops but can't figure out what type of back splash to install that would not be too dark.

White subway tile is the most popular option I've seen, but white bead board would also look nice. Good luck!
Don't know, but you might want to consider the color of your cabinets, too.
Here are some backsplash ideas for your counter tops: white subway tiles, faux brick with the same gold/tan/brown tones in your butcher block, rustic coffee bar tiles (many shades of light browns with a few dark for accent), travertine marble, faux stone grey tones with some light brown accents also, these are the best ones I can imagine. Hope this helps. Take a list of these to your local home improvement store to compare which ones you like and they may have a catalog for you to look at also. Hope this helps. Here is one example for you of the faux stone back splash. This is my favorite.

Thank you all for the suggestions. These were great ideas.
I used a product that looks like tin ceiling panels and it was very easy to do. You can read about it here https://www.homeroad.net/2013/09/tin-ceiling-backsplash.html
For butcher block countertops, a versatile and complementary backsplash option would be subway tile in a neutral color like white or light gray. This classic choice enhances the natural warmth of the wood while providing a clean and timeless look to your kitchen.
