We add flowers to the garden edge to draw bees, then they go on to find our tomatoes. HOWEVER tomatoes ARE self pollinating in that they can be made to pollinate themselves. Here is a tutorial for growing them in pots, BUT it applies to ground gardens too in helping them pollinate. Growing Tomatoes in Pots
Hi Barbara,
I found it interesting that tomatoes are mostly pollinated by the wind. Many people hand pollinate them because they get better results. Here's an article that might help. Wishing you the best.

Start by planting single-petal flowers with yellow, white, blue, and purple blooms. You can also plant bee-friendly herbs like rosemary, lavender, sage, and thyme. Next, stop using pesticides on your lawn and let the foliage grow a little wild to provide shelter for the bees.
If you wonder than you should do some research by Googling.

First thing to do to attract bees and other beneficial bugs is to stop using any chemicals and pesticides in your yard and garden. Plant bee loving plants - I grow onions and chives just for them as when they bloom, bees just cluster all over them and it is a sight to see.
