Can you give us a drawing where the windows and doors are?
I would definitely add in some large shelves. Then, you can organize with baskets . We also added in some dressers to our large bathroom. They were long and shorter, like the ones for dining rooms or entry ways. They make excellent storage and look nice too
This is one of my favorite articles on cleaning, organizing and decluttering. It really breaks down the steps of the process, and even includes an interview with TV show Hoarders star Matt Paxton. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

Pick a main wall to put the bed then go from there maybe do the wall in a different color to off set bedroom tables next to bed dress or on side were there is more room then maybe a chair and a full length mirror.
It would depend on what you have in it. Ours is 16 x 32. We have the bed in the center of the room with a night stand & recliner on each side. The television is across from the foot of the bed. The chest of drawers and dresser are on the end of the room. This set up has worked well for us, I prefer to stay away from crowding rooms and keep them open. But right now, we are painting and everything is in the middle of the room. LOL
