the seeds most likely already fell out of the pods it doesn't take long they will regrow again next year. maybe again this year depending where you live. If they still have seed heads/pods; Do you know what they look like? cut them off & open seed heads remove seeds and plant them if you do not know what they look like cut off whole top part of Lobelia and take your hand grab stalk and run hand down stem to remove all dried plant stuff crunch it up gently and plant this stuff in soil where you want them to grow or save in brown paper bag in cool dark place until after Mothers Day in Spring. to grow them again the seeds are tiny like grains of salt look at these pics https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS750US750&q=lobelia+seeds++pictures&tbm=isch&source=univ&safe=active&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiTqL_vh_njAhVWsp4KHRD1BS8QsAR6BAgGEAE&biw=1366&bih=657
