How can I make over the ceiling after removing the popcorn ceiling?
Removed popcorn ceiling, painted and looks bad. Is there anything out there besides ceiling tiles, planks? I have seen the tissue paper hack. I had previously used a sand product, I liked results but it was messy?

Did you skim. Coat it first and sand down? You can drywall over it. Not as expensive as you would think and finish it smooth.
Paintable wallpaper
When we scraped off our popcorn ceiling, we simply painted it. There was a design of sorts in it, but it looked like it was planned that way. It was a very thin texture and most ceilings have a sort of texture anyway. We simply painted ours!
