Pamela, there are a number of things you can put over the fuse box door. I hang an old fashioned scrub board they used in pioneer days over mine to hide it and it is easily accessible in the laundry room. Depending on the room where your fuse box is located you can adapt the cover. Here is one example a hometalker used:

Pamela....You can always use mod podge and 1 ply napkins just stick with something that will match your decor...even use contact paper or wallpaper. Good luck!
