Barbara...If they are in direct sunlight daily it's hard...can you move them and be sure to keep watered if no rain.
You can also add hydration pellets to your potting mix that will help hold moisture so they don't dry out so quickly.
They dry out so quickly that I usually line the bottom of each hanging basket with a diaper when planting. If your baskets are already planted, try using an upside down water bottle filled with water to release water over time. Good luck!
