One way to camouflage the scratch is with a magic marker made specifically for scratched wood. They are sold at hardware stores and (probably) Home Depot or Lowe’s. They come in a lot of different staining colors. Start with the lightest tone in your floor, and then add a darker tone to different areas of the scratch to blend the scratch into the surface. It should disappear pretty well!
Allana,
The manufacturer of your floor probably sells repair pens that are close to the colors of your floor. If not, you can buy furniture and flooring repair pen sets at hardware stores and online. There are a multitude of them so you should be able to find one that matches your colors.
I use Old English for all our wood scratches, it comes in dark or light and the scratches disappear!

I start with Murphy’s Soap to clean the section of floor with the scratch. Then, for your floor, I would get out all my beige and gray, and maybe a white and a black, permanent markers. I would take the time to try to match the colors and lines of the floor. Then use a soft clean cloth to wipe over the repair. If you don’t know what sealer your laminate has on it, use a small amount of polyurethane (dry brush method) to cover the scratch. Dry brush: dip the first inch of a good paint brush into the poly, then get off all the poly you can on the edge of the can so that the poly runs back down into the can. That will still leave enough polyurethane on the brush to do the job. After the poly has blended into the finish and dried completely, use a soft cloth to buff the previously scratched area to get a good shine. After that, clean as you do the rest of the floor. And put pads under all the furniture you can, and lay down a rug or drop cloth if you are moving things across the floor. The top layer can be very thin. But the basic material can last a long time if it doesn’t get wet. Good luck! Jewell
