Wash everything - ceilings, floors, walls, cabinets, etc. If that doesn't do it, repaint using an odor-blocking paint like Kilz.
Hi,
Clean the carpets and the wash the walls and ceiling using a floral disinfectant in the water, that should help. If there are any pieces of furniture, then have them steam cleaned too.

We had to clean all the residue from a heavy smoker in a rental property we owned. I washed everything, including light fixtures. The nicotine stains on the ceilings was the worst. Wear gloves, and use magic erasers, a soft scrub brush, and rags that you will get rid of when done. I used products like Krud Kutter. I also scrubbed the windows and screens. Cigarette smell really bothers me, so I wore a mask and kept all the windows open. The stained woodwork and ceiling had to be painted, so I used Kilz first, to seal it. Even lightbulbs had residue, so carefully wipe them down or replace them. It was a process, but when I finished, there wasn't a trace of smell left. Soft surfaces like curtains, rugs, and upholstery absorb odors and had to be cleaned also, so I'm glad most of the furnishings were hers and went with her.
