Which wood sealer should I use on a ladder shelf in my kitchen?

Ideas of best "sealer" to put on small wooden ladder in kitchen - will be used to store kitchen towels and used daily .. pics and tips appreciated .. TIA

Rustoleum 2X Ultracover Clear will work perfectly for the ladder! It is a spray. I would spray the ladder twice letting it dry well in between coats.

Polyurethane unless ladder is painted white, Poly will yellow white. The use just a good water based acrylic.
I'd use a polycrilic or other water-based sealer. It will hold up well and doesn't have the off gasing that oil-based sealers have.
