How can I convert a whiskey bottle into an outdoor lamp?
I have a whiskey bottle in the shape of a ship's lamp with a bronze top and bronze bottom. The top has a 3/4 inch opening. Is there an elongated bulb I would be able to hang inside with a rubber attachment so I can connect it to an electric box I have outside?

What about a string of tiny lights?
Those LED Christmas light strings don't t create much heat at all, and you can stuff/arrange as many as will stuff into your bottle.Weatherproof, attractive, inexpensive to operate.
Hi Jim. I'm Cindy. You could take the bottle with you to your local home improvement store. There's an aisle in Home Depot where you can see all their bulbs lit up. That way you will be able to see if any of them would work for you. I have used this aisle twice.
