Bed Bugs Facts and Info
Here's a post that might help you - https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/guide/bedbugs-infestation#1
You can't. You need to call the pros
You can get rid of them. The "professionals" take your money knowing they can't get rid of them.
It's going to take a minute to get rid of them because they hide in the most unsuspecting nooks and crannies. They can only be kiiled with 90,% alcohol and high heat from a Steamer (that you use to steam clothes) . The alcohol kills them upon contact and the steam melts their body casing and kills the babies.
You'll need to wash all of your bed linens in hot water and dry them on the highest settings, or throw them out and start new.
You'll need to spray alcohol on every nook and cranny of your bed, mattress and around the seams of the mattress, around the baseboards and electrical sockets, and any place else you've seen them.
Bed bugs nests look like black trails.
Immediately after spraying the 90% alcohol, slowly steam every where that you sprayed the alcohol. Allow the areas to dry and vaccuum those same areas. Be sure to dump the vacuum canisters outside in the garbage can. Spray and steam the canisters with alcohol too.
I did the above 3 times before and bought an $80 bed bug mattress protector before I started sleeping in my bed. I slept on my couch for 2 weeks until I was relatively assured that I got rid of them. It worked!!!
My niece had an infestation in her apartment building. It took a professional, licensed exterminator to get rid of them. Her apartment didn't get them, but she still had to bag up her belongings for about a month and follow all their directions. It was a production and nerve wracking, but the health department was involved and it was done correctly.
