What color should I use to paint a round wood "moon" project?
Ladies. I want to paint a round piece wood(purchased at hobby lobby) to place (glue) a sculptured saying “ love you to the moon and back “ for my granddaughter, what color do you suggest (to make it look like a moon)I’m also going to stencil in shooting stars.Thank you 🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♂️

I think a dark navy would be gorgeous!
I would suggest using acrylic paints in either flat or satin sheen avoiding the gloss and enamels that would be too shiny. I believe the matte or chalky texture would be a realistic choice.
