How do I paint over a brick fireplace?
I want to give my brick fireplace a grey whitewash look. How do I mix the paint to get the Grey in with the white and what type of paint do I use?

Use acrylic latex paint. All you need is the grey in the shade you want. For white wash dilute the paint with 50/50 mix of water and paint. Brush the paint on and wipe off until you get the desired effect.
