How can I remove an oil stain from dark cotton?
I was recently enjoying a shrimp dish with a lemon, garlic and butter sauce. Of course I landed I big drop of the sauce on my shirt. I’ve tried pre-treating with a laundry spray, but had no luck. I also tried pre-treating with some Dawn dish soap. Again no luck. Any suggestions?

Makeup remover has helped me with some tough spots. Also shampoo. Rub it in, blot, rinse and wash in the warmest water the fabric will tolerate. Air dry until you are sure it is all out.
