Can you give me advice for installing a railing?
We currently have a set of three steps made from wood. Would like to add a rail but not sure how or what to buy.

Hi, a lot of this depends on where you are putting this - inside or out. What is available to wall mount - if that is a choice. What the style of the home is.
Hi, TI!
If the stairs have a wall on one or either side, a simple handrail with brackets would suffice. If it is freestanding, posts can be secured to the bottom and top steps (or along the side, if outside) with a board secured to the posts following the slope of the stairs. A handrail is generally 42" from the top of the step to the top of the rail. Let us know if we can be of further help!
We used 4×4 posts at the top and bottom of the steps and a handrail inbetween.
