How can I hang up a dresser mirror that is missing bar brackets?
I have a dresser with mirror but during our recent move the bar brackets were lost. I’ve seen similar ones online for about $60 but wanted to see if there is a less expensive alternative to this. I read 2 inches wooden strips would work but I’m afraid the dresser would stick out too far from the wall in that case. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dresser mirror support
You can buy flat brackets with screw holes in the hardware section of the store. should be under $1 each.
Just add heavy duty picture hangers on the back's wood side of the mirror and hang it on the wall. I do that all the time. I think it looks better.
Go to homedepot and get brackets to hold up chicken wire they have holes for screws get two
Have you contacted the Removal Co. or If you think they were thrown out by accident and don't haave insurance, bite the bullet and buy new or maybe secondhand on ebay or other outlet such as Charity shop!
Weigh the mirror and then buy heavy dute picture hangers that are rated to carry that load.
A picture would be helful since we are sort working blind. But removing the mirror mounted directly on the dresser really dates the unit.
