How to clean red or wine spots?

For red stains I mix ammonia and water half & half. Spray on spot, cover with white towel and iron over it to lift spot.

Some have tried putting white wine on red wine spots, I have never done this but they say it works. Blot to absorb the wetness.

Supposedly if you spill red wine you can pour white over it and it will get rid of the stain.
