How do I fix the bottom of my floor lamp?
The bottom of my floor lamp was coming apart and me and was spilling all over the floor. So I took it all off and found out that doing that, the lamp wouldn't stand up straight. Now how can I make some kind of weight to hold it up.

How can I replace the crumbled weight base of my torchiere lamp?
Turn upside down and fill with plaster or quick set concrete then cover bottom with felt to protect your floors.
Use cement for the base. Plaster is not heavy enough.
If you fill the bottom with cement be sure to protect the cord with a piece of rubber or plastic tubing .
