First check with your municipality about height restrictions. Next you should get the county surveyor out if this will be a fence dividing the property line. You don't want to go through all that work and find out it was installed in the wrong spot. And I highly suggest hiring out the post hole digging. It is back breaking work. Buy Treated Lumber and the corresponding coatings on the fasteners.
It will cost you 5% more for treated lumber and it will never be termite eaten.
The 8’ wood fence between my neighbor and I live, is falling over because of the termites eating the non-treated posts. (yes 8’ is legal where I live).
