Trim it with Wallpaper Border or Timber trim in colour or colours to suit your decor or use Mirror tiles or Ceramic Tile Trims., or glass pebbles or Shells etc............
You might consider masking of an area or areas and using the glass "frosting" paint to create a unique mirror. The frosting seems to make items appear modern.
