How can one female lift a 48" dining table on her own?
I refurbish dining tables as a hobby and need to move the tables from my garage to the dining table for staging. I am dependant on my husband but he's not always available. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could move the table from one place to another by myself?

Can you place the furniture on rolling dollies? We attached a long rope to a dolly which allows me to move large, heavy items by myself.
You can remove the top by unscrewing it and then rolling the top to the next area. (I would lay down padded blankets on the ground first) Or you can put the top on a piano dolly.
Furniture dollies. I have several. I live alone and there is no "help" available. Those things were worth the investment.
Yup furniture dollies. You can use two under two legs on one end and pick up the other end or four to just push the tables around.

Can you hire a neighborhood teen to come help you? I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. Moving the furniture is one reason I've stopped painting furniture for sale.
You could try a dolly
Also available for moving furniture are sliders. These come in various shapes, sizes and brand names. They are put under the legs or sides of heavier pieces, which facilitates pulling/pushing or 'sliding' across the floor.
I use the sliders that go on the bottom of furniture to move it by myself. They work on carpeting and keep the floor from being scratched. https://amzn.to/37KnhiY. If this is not an option you can stick a towel under one side of the furniture to slide it along the floor. Be careful and don't get hurt, it's not worth it.
When I work on furniture pieces I use gliders under the feet that will help slide it from room to room. https://amzn.to/3tgdEnP. This might help unless you are talking about moving it up steps.
Furniture sliders and rollers help. Or you could take it apart in pieces.
