How can I clean mouse trap glue out of rugs?
Our dog got stuck in a mouse glue trap then proceeded to break it apart all through the house leaving the sticky residue not only on him bug on rugs and blankets etc. Any ideas as to how to remove it? Thanks

You could try Goo Gone or Gu Gone. Try in the most inconspicuous place first.

I second ice cubes. Let it set and freeze then peel
up. Goof off is very stinky and may damage the color of the carpet
Saturate the glue with vinegar and allow it to soak in for several minutes. Then apply a colorless soap or liquid detergent on top of the vinegar. Use a scrub brush to work the soap into the glue. Rinse the carpet with warm water to remove the soap residue and blot the area to remove the liquid.
