I use my plastic coffee cans with the handle grips to store flour, grains etc. I’ve covered the labels with a black chalkboard sticky paper avail on the web. This makes nice labels and the containers stack neatly in the pantry. Easy to handle etc.
We drilled holes in the lid of one and keep it under the sink for used coffee grounds and other kitchen compost makings.

Spray the outside and use for food storage of crackers and dry goods. Use in the garage with a label on each for gardening supplies, hardware, etc.
